Memorial Day

I never really talk much about being a Veteran or what that means to me and I'm not going to do that now.
I do want to say thank you to all the Active Military who are serving around the world in order to keep our great nation safe.   People don't really think much about the preservation of their rights but they sure do want to speak out about them. Get what I'm saying.

Anyway once again, for the many soldiers who served before and after me -- THANK YOU!!
As a woman Vet and a Daughter of the American Revolution -- THANK YOU!!
As a citizen of the country that remains FREE -- THANK YOU!!
To the families who stand behind the troops -- THANK YOU!!
To the many soldiers who never made it back home --

  1. I am super proud of my service family members, past and present. And I am very proud of our country and all the people who make it great, and keep it free. Thank You!

  2. Agreed. My hubby is a veteran and our oldest son serves.

I'm your latest follower from the Meet & Greet.

    1. Welcome to fairies market! I'm so happy you stopped by and I hope I keep you interested for many posts to come! You are a Blue Star Mother right? If I can help in any way please don't hesitate to connect with me. Small gifts from home always put a smile on a soldier's face. I'm happy to help. THANK YOU & your family.

  3. Beautiful tribute. My brother went to Viet Nam at 18 and has never been the same; my husband is retired AF and also served in 'Nam but refuses to discuss it. Lots of scars from that era that will never heal. Our grandson is a Marine and has served 2 tours in Afghanistan. The times are so different, thank goodness. He talks openly about his emotions and fears - we're so proud of servicemen and, especially, their families. Have a great weekend, Jan
