BeadFest Santa Fe 2015

Have you heard... Santa Fe is the host to one of three BeadFest conventions this year.  There will be workshops and shopping for bead enthusiasts and jewelry makers alike.  I'm very excited because I am registered for a couple of classes.

I've purchased many components from Sara Lukkonen from C-Koop Beads but I'm thrilled to be taking a class with her on enameling!!!!  I will definitely be stopping by her booth right after class to see what beads, buttons and components she's brought to the Land of Enchantment.

Cooky Schock is in NM teaching Braided, Beaded and Wired and I will be participating in that class as well.  Cooky has worked published in many trade magazines and shows her work throughout California.  There are many other talented teachers and artists showing their work and teaching workshops at BeadFest.

Gail Stouffer is an artist who transforms glass, metal and clay to create some amazing pieces.  I believe that during BeadFest Santa Fe she's teaching on metal clay!

As a simple stringer I'm excited to learn new skills and meet folks from around the country.  Last time I attended BeadFest I had an absolutely fantastic time.  There will be vendors offering kits, components, spools of chain and dazzling baubles for every shopper in the City Different. Hope to see you there!
