I want to share my ideas, laughs, and life with you. As a novice beader I want to develop a community with like minded artisans who inspire one another to learn about the craft of bead making, stringing, wire wrapping and all things beading. I want to share what I know and create with others.
I am truly inspired by my family which includes talented quilters, writers, sculptures, bloggers, potters, and cooks!
Nature and the beauty of the world around me is where I look for ideas on color combinations in my designs. While they may appear simple I remind myself that it's the simple beauty of the world around me that is the gift of life.
In my travels I visit museums, galleries, antique stores, consignment shops and places where I might find interesting collectibles and inspiration. As a kid I collected rocks (still do). I am drawn to the uniqueness of gemstones, crystals, art beads and glass.

and diamonds won't keep you warm at night,
but they're sure fun when the sun shines."

Jewelry making is a creative outlet for me. My focus is to connect with other artisans and continue learning and sharing while having fun creating handmade jewelry and jewelry components. I hope you find my posts interesting & inspiring.
