Get Involved

This week I'm keeping my eye on a couple of things.  One is Lorelei's Blog where she's giving away beads, buttons, tools and other great findings.  You will be inspired to create and join the fun!

Art Jewelry Elements (AJE) is hosting an earring challenge and there are some beautiful items being shared there.  Check it out.

The colors, beads, findings, wire and the creative pool has inspired me.

You don't know if you don't try

I bought some nice waxed linen thread from whitecloverkiln on Etsy.  I made a 27 bead mala using jasper beads and I included a beautiful round garnet as the guru bead.  The thread worked great with this beautiful jasper mix of rondell beads that I purchased in Santa Fe, NM.

Jasper is one of my favorite gemstones because it comes in a wide variety of colors and a wonderful display of patterns...no two are the same.  This was my first try at knot tying and I am pleased with the outcome.  I will use this in my daily meditation.

Dive Deeper

Take the plunge, dive deeper into yourself.  Get to know the true you.  Since reviving my practice I have already felt a shift within myself.  My meditation has reminded me that I cannot have one thing without another; pain and suffering/peace, love and happiness.  Balance.

Tracy at Make Bracelets! is having a blog hop  - Inspire Change: Wellness Words Jewelry Challenge.  This is right in line with my committment to evolve, to create, and to surrender.  Surrender is my word of choice.  Through surrender I can accept and come to a new realization of the world around me.  I surrender to practice daily and opend myself to inner harmony or termoil and breathe though the process.

Intention

Today take time to set your Intention - Focus, Breathe, Resolve to make a difference in your life and the lives of those around you.  Allow your heart to communicate and let love flow.  The energy you create helps to create your desires, your dreams, your life.   Happiness is your birthright so enjoy yourself.  Live a little hey live a LOT!

I have revived my Kundalini yoga practice because I need to focus on life outside of work.  I have found myself totally consumed by my J.O.B. and I've forgotten all about my practice.  I am committed to doing the kriya for physical and mental vitality three times a week and a three minute meditation.  I will be patient with myself and get cozy with my cushion.  Join me.
