Color of Dreams Blog Hop

I signed up for the Color of Dreams blog hop w/Toltec Jewels and as a result I received a one of a kind handmade bead to inspire my creative process.  The bead was made by Patricia Handschuh from The Color of Dreams Boutique on Etsy.  The handmade polymer clay bead is from her Spring Roses collection.

The focus of the challenge is that "If we can dream it, we can achieve it." So, try creating "from the end" -- as if your dream has already come true -- using your jewelry design to do so.

Aaaah to dream.  Well I used to journal about my dreams – dreams can convey so much.  Lately my focus has been on opening my heart.  Not judging but loving (including myself).
My mantra – love flows in me, love flows out of me and love flows throughout my being.

Green is the color of the heart chakra.  Pink symbolized love.  And so there was no mistake that Rita shipped this particular bead to me.

I immediately fell in love with the green and pink bead.
I surrounded it with my favorite beads -- new lampwork discs from Beads by Laura from her Indigo collection, Swarovski crystals in pink, white and green and finished it up with an eye catching bali toggle clasp.

Thank you Rita for allowing me to participate in this wonderful blog hop.
A list of the participants is on the Toltec Jewels for Jewel School Friends blog -- check it out.

Keep Creating,
Karen

  19. Another exquisite and gorgeous work of art, Karen! And a beautiful, healing & lovely post :) My heart is open & joyful reading your lovely words and gazing at your stunning bracelet. I love the lampwork by Beads By Laura -- oh, the color! And I love that you fell in love with your bead! I feel in love with your bracelet the moment i saw it! There's an energy & radiance to the art here -- I think it's that your intention to love rather than judge flows through effortlessly, and gracefully with each element: pattern, art beads, design, technique, colorway, creative thought and soul. A star of the show! Thank you so much my friend for sharing your gifts with us. You are as exquisite and lovely and outstanding as is your art! xxoo Rita
