Open Your Heart

In a recent post I touched on the influence color and its influence on energy, mood and the mind.  Green is said to be linked to positive healing energy, the fourth chakra, the heart center, love, honesty, joy, happiness, compassion, sincere love and rebirth.

In today's fast paced world it is sometimes hard to let love flow.  I'm not talking about the kind of love you read about in a novel.  I'm talking about true love.  The joy that flows from within you to those around you and ultimately to everyone and everything in the universe.

I use various methodologies to stay connected to my gut (instinct) which feeds my heart and head.  I pray, use essential oils, meditate, practice yoga, take long walks, write, confide in close friends and family.  You name it I will try it.  It's different for each of us.  The important thing is that we all take time for ourselves to practice opening our hearts to love.

Malas, prayer bracelets, rosaries or yogic jewelry help maintain focus.  You can find different colors to help focus your energy.

Falling off the path happens.  The trick is to have a dedicated practice that allows you time to listen to your heart.  Can you find your heart?  Are you aware of it within yourself?

We reap what we sow...you get out of it what you put into it.  The relationship you have with your mind, body and soul should be the one you put the most effort into right?  How?  I'm busy, you're busy, hey we are all going 100 miles an hour.

Well blogging buddies I encourage each of you to find your tool box (it's different for everyone) open it up and take action. Take time each day to practice self love.  Hold yourself in high regard, forgive yourself, you are your best teacher so listen closely.  Make a conscious shift from getting love to creating love.

Challenge yourself to breath and recognize ONE thing about yourself that you absolutely adore and say it out loud so you can hear your loving voice.

Have a GREAT day!
